Pay Rate: £38,500

Grade: L

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday

Note: The role is based within a prison. An Enhanced Security Vetting Process is required.

• Work with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.
• Responsibility for day‑to‑day activities within Workshop.
• Responsible for accurate ongoing stock control for Workshop.
• Supervise, direct and develop workshop supervisors, team leaders and order distributors.
• Liaise with Booker and HMPS teams.
• Liaise with welfare groups and recommend items for the National Product list.
• Collaborate with other workshops to maximise efficiencies and best practice.
• Display attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexibility with regards to shift and working rota.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and company rules, agreements, policies and quality procedures.
• Manage the purchase, supply and distribution of catalogue items from high street retailers.

• Have previous experience leading, managing or supervising a team.
• Are IT literate for accurate and timely reporting.
• Have a can‑do attitude, right‑first‑time and passionate approach.
• Have an enhanced security clearance (mandatory).
