Overview

Searles Leisure Resort is a family‑run holiday resort located on the beautiful Norfolk coastline in Hunstanton. Seasonal position – 10 hours per week. Reporting to the Hygiene Manager.

Job Purpose

As a Site Cleaning Operative, you will be an integral part of the Site Clean Team. Your role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the resort, including venues, toilets, offices, holiday homes, stock, and facilities. You will provide excellent customer service, manage health and safety, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain clean and tidy areas across the resort, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, washing up, cleaning facilities, windows, and glass partitions.
  • Dress holiday home sales stock for viewing and undress once sold, preparing units for new owners.
  • Report any damage, defects, or non‑functioning items within holiday homes.
  • Carry out additional cleaning and housekeeping duties as required.
  • Prepare holiday home sales units to company standards.
  • Follow all company procedures to ensure consistent, high‑quality standards.
  • Comply with relevant regulations and policies, including the Data Protection Act, Health & Safety, and Safeguarding.
  • Complete required in‑house training and participate in team meetings.
  • Act as an ambassador for the business, promoting the company positively to customers at all times.
  • Perform any additional cleaning tasks as directed by the manager.
  • Support the company’s mission and objectives through adherence to all policies and procedures.

Education, Training & Experience
  • Previous professional cleaning experience (desirable, not essential).
  • COSHH awareness (training provided).
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to represent the business positively.

  • Full valid UK driving licence (desirable).
  • Flexible with working hours.
  • Maintain professional work attire.
  • Polite, well‑mannered, and good communication skills.
  • Ability to meet standards and expectations consistently.
