We're supporting a well‑established manufacturing business in North Norfolk that is seeking an experienced Interim Operations Manager to provide leadership and stability during a period of transition. The organisation is known for its high quality, strong customer base, and a commitment to continuous improvement, and they are looking for someone who can quickly add value and ensure operational efficiency. This is a hands‑on, fast‑moving role ideal for someone who thrives in busy production environments and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to drive change.

• Lead day‑to‑day operations across the manufacturing site, ensuring production targets, quality standards and on‑time delivery metrics are met
• Provide clear leadership to production teams, including supervisors and shift leaders
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Maintain a strong focus on health & safety, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Oversee workflow planning, resource management, and performance monitoring
• Support the senior leadership team with operational insights and data‑driven recommendations
• Stabilise operations during a period of organisational change, ensuring continuity and strong communication

• Proven experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment
• Comfortable stepping into an interim role and making an immediate impact
• Strong leadership style with the ability to motivate and influence teams
• Excellent understanding of lean methodologies and continuous improvement
• A pragmatic, solutions‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities
• Able to quickly assess operational challenges and drive practical, sustainable improvements
• Confident communicator across all levels, from shop floor to senior stakeholders
