THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of a busy service department. You’ll lead from the front, manage and develop your team, drive departmental performance and ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage the service department on a daily basis. Manage, motivate and develop the service team. Drive customer satisfaction, retention and overall customer experience. Monitor and improve departmental KPIs and profitability. Maximise workshop efficiency, productivity and utilisation. Ensure high standards of quality, compliance and manufacturer processes. Coach and support your team to achieve individual and departmental targets. Deal confidently with customer escalations and ensure issues are resolved professionally.

Work closely with the wider dealership management team to drive overall business performance. ABOUT YOU We’re looking for an experienced automotive professional who can demonstrate:
Previous experience as a Service Manager within a franchised/main dealership. Strong knowledge of service and workshop operations. Proven leadership and people-management skills. A strong understanding of departmental KPIs and commercial performance. Excellent customer service and communication skills. The confidence to lead, motivate and develop a team. A professional, driven and commercially aware approach. A genuine passion for the motor industry.
