Position: Customer Facing Quality Lead (Permanent)
Location: North Norfolk

Customer Facing Quality Lead

Our client is manufacturing high-end products servicing the marine sector with an ever-increasing product range. Customer expectations are excellence in product design, cost and delivery performance.
As Customer Facing Quality Lead, you will be customer faced ensuring products and services meet recognised standard by developing and implementing quality control processes, monitoring production and conducting audits. You will work with various inhouse teams, eg manufacturing, design, sales and purchasing to address and resolve corrective actions.

Experience:

Place the customer at the centre of all decisions, ensuring that the product meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

* Manage all customer QI’s and be the point of contact for customer interaction including

* Loading CIDs

* Challenge specification

* Attend customer site where required

* Follow up with production to ensure warranty orders are shipped

* Report on weekly warranty costs

* Main impacts

* Main customer concerns

* Forward look

* Report on internal scrap and advise corrective actions

* Report on supplier NCs, recording and recouping the cost.

* Create and maintain quality control process, procedures and policies to ensure products and services meet standards

* Collect and analyse data related to quality control, produce statistical reports and reporting findings and recommendations to the leadership team.

The above list is not exhaustive and may be amended as necessary depending on the needs of the business.

The Person :

* Background in quality within a manufacturing environment.

* Strong analytical, leadership and management skills

* Understanding of Health & Safety practices.

* Identifies with the Company’s Core Values and encourages the promotion amongst team members.

* Effective communicator who is adaptable and can motivate team members and has an open mind and willing to listen to ideas.

* Team player with strong leadership skills, a “hands-on” approach and a visible level of drive and enthusiasm, with the ability to think strategically.

* Ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative and drive, even under tight deadlines and pressure, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
