Location: Snetterton

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading and prestigious manufacturing company based in Snetterton, Norfolk. Due to their continued growth and success they are seeking to employ a Late Shift Warehouse Supervisor.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 1:00pm - 10:00pm.

Purpose of the role

Oversee, lead and manage the late shift team to assemble, pick and load goods onto the delivery vans. This role is hands on and involves working with the team but acting as the lead person who has overall responsibility.

Responsibilities and duties include:

Assembling - picking and packing furniture and furnishings, ready for loading.

Daily handovers– handover from morning shift to late shift. Responsible for ensuring any issues experienced by the morning shift are resolved before goods leave.

Housekeeping– Ensure all aisles and picking areas are clean and tidy at the end of the shift.

Inaccuracies– Ensure we dispatch with 100% accuracy, no picking errors.

Quality Control – Ensure products picked are not damaged and packaging is suitable and intact.

Health & Safety– Ensure H & S standards are always maintained.

Take responsibility for performance and behaviours.

Be comfortable delegating tasks to the team.

Loading and safely packing furniture onto 3.5-ton delivery box vans.

Ensure all good are secured and well protected to ensure they arrive with client without damage.

Keep inside of vans clean and tidy ready for the next load.

Other duties include:

Support - To help and support the Manager in all aspects of the warehouse. To maintain standards of all warehouse personnel.

The candidate needs to be experienced at managing people within a small team and be physically able to handle large items of furniture
