ISQ Recruitment is looking for a reliable and motivated Workshop Assembly Operative to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in doing a good job and is looking to build their experience in a practical manufacturing environment.
Whether you have previous workshop experience, enjoy DIY or woodworking in your spare time, have used tools in another role, or simply have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:
 
Cutting, assembling and preparing timber components
Using a range of hand tools, power tools and fixed machinery — full training can be provided
Working as part of a team to meet production schedules and deadlines
Checking your work to ensure a high standard of quality and accuracy
Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
Following health & safety procedures at all times

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Keen to develop new skills and take on new challenges
Able to follow instructions and work carefully

Experience &

Qualifications:

No formal qualifications are required
Previous workshop, manufacturing or trade experience is an advantage, but not essential
DIY, woodworking, assembling, construction or experience using tools is desirable
Most importantly, you'll have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
Full training and support will be provided to help you develop in the role
