JOB DESCRIPTIONOur client, a reputable nursing home in Thetford, is currently looking to recruit a permanent Staff Nurse to help provide the highest levels of nursing care to their elderly residents.
- Registered Adult Nurse RGN or Mental Health Nurse RMN
- £20 per hour
- Fulltime hours
- Mixed shifts
- CQC rating:
Good - Nursing, dementia and residential care to the elderly
- Job reference JO19591
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- You must be a qualified nurse RGN or RMN - and have a valid NMC PIN
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for elderly and dementia care
- Dedication to providing the highest levels of care
- Previous experience within a similar setting
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience
- Planning, assessing, delivering and evaluating individual care
- Organising and motivating the carers to ensure good standards of care are delivered
- May assist in inductions and orientations of new care staff
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate drug records (storage, maintenance and use)
- Providing the highest standards of medical or palliative care at all times
