Wed 08:30-14:00;
Sat 08:30-14:00.

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week; if you prefer fewer hours (≥12) we also offer opportunities.

• Serve shoppers and provide customer service.
• Work across store areas: service, picking, replenishment.
• Apply training to work safely, effectively and deliver excellent customer service.
• Make decisions that benefit customers and meet their needs.
• Take part in seasonal, community and charity events.
• Monitor store performance and collaborate to improve service, sales, and reduce waste.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality.
• Accept deliveries into the store when required.
• Represent Tesco as a brand ambassador, be punctual, well-presented.
• Build rapport with customers for a great shopping experience.
• Communicate openly within the team and support team spirit.
• Work every week within the availability window and schedule.

• Knowledge of customers and passion for service.
• Good understanding of store products and services.
• Ability to work safely and effectively, following store policies.
• Team player with strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Flexible and may work whichever hours are needed within the availability window.
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• For roles involving early/late hours or specific areas e.g., warehouse, beer/wine, counters, bakery, driving, applicant must be over 18.
• Eligibility to work if passed school leaver age (specific to country).
