Warehouse Assistant

Our client is a leading manufacturer based in Kings Lynn; due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Warehouse Assistant to start as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and dynamic company.

On-going contract – potentially leading to permanent for the ideal candidate

Competitive salary offered starting from £13.33 per hour

Hours of work 8.30am to 5.00pm

Monday to Friday

37.5 hours per week

The ideal candidate:

Must be computer literate. Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems would be advantageous

Physically fit as some lifting required

Capable of working on own initiative

Must be a team player

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Receiving goods into site

Palletising of components to go to the supply base

Movement of stock around the site

Liaising directly with the supply base to ensure components are delivered in a timely fashion

Working directly with outsourced storage facilities to ensure smooth transition of product into and out of the client and the supply

Accurate inputting of stock, arriving and moving around the various facilities

Ensure the Pick and Pack area is stocked sufficiently to allow orders to be despatched out to client’s customers.

Completion of work orders on the ERP system

Ensure that all requirements of Health and Safety are adhered to and upheld in the warehouse areas

Maintaining and ordering of the consumable items

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills
