Shift patterns:
Monday to Friday (includes working UK bank holidays). Monday: 07:00-16:45, Tuesday to Thursday: 08:00-16:45, Friday: 08:00-14:45

Pay Rate: £27,501.32

This role is based inside a prison and involves working alongside serving offenders. You will be required to pass enhanced security vetting as part of the recruitment process. The position is not a standard warehouse role; it supports the HMPPS Canteen Service, responsible for picking, packing and distributing orders within the prison.

• Assist the Warehouse Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the warehouse operation (on‑site at the prison)
• Line‑manage the Warehouse Team Leaders and overall supervise the prisoners while they are at work
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and prison rules and regulations
• Deliver staff training and inductions
• Meet and exceed operational targets

• Comfortable working inside a prison alongside offenders
• Previous experience leading, managing or supervising a team
• Able to communicate clearly and deal with people, including in challenging situations
• Have a 3‑year UK address history (required for security clearance)
• IT literate to enable accurate and timely reporting
