• Provide support to the Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations Division both on the east and west coasts.
• Participate in boat operations, maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Shipboard support, including knowledge of launching and recovery of small boats.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Work as part of an established Marine Operations division that supports multiple other systems on a variety of projects nationwide.
• Be trained to participate in functions beyond normal operations.
• Travel 40–50% of the year, from one to six weeks at a time.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license;
  Commercial Driver License is a plus.
• Physically capable of transferring between vessels at sea.
• Have good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Minimum general mechanical and boat operations experience, including:
  • 3 years of technical experience (Tech II).
  • General knowledge of boat operations, mechanical and electrical operating systems.
  • Experience driving pickup trucks with trailers on roads and in enclosed or limited spaces.
  • Ability to work varying hours, including nights and pre‑dawn hours.
• Be able to obtain a passport if required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Trade school training is a plus.
• Professional certifications/licenses are a plus.

• Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Employment and start date contingent upon receiving the required interim security clearance.

The working conditions vary from desk work, data entry, reports, and work orders in a database to shop work in various specialty shops and warehouse spaces. Employees operate small boats in local waters and offshore fleet operating areas; environmental conditions may vary.
