Construction Field Technician, Norfolk, VA

Stevenson Consulting, Inc. is a well-established engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspections. We are looking for a full-time CONSTRUCTION FIELD TECHNICIAN to join our team in Norfolk, VA.

We offer a competitive compensation package and benefits. Compensation is based on experience and acquired industry certifications.

• Observing and testing samples of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt
• Preparing field reports and assisting with laboratory testing
• Daily interaction with clients and team members

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Work experience in the construction industry
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to work off-shift hours, including some weekends
• Valid driver’s license, with satisfactory driving history
• Ability to pass background screen
