Asbestos Technician

Enviro Vantage, Inc, a leading Environmental Remediation & Demolition Contractor since 1985, is looking to add to our incredible team. Servicing projects nationwide and across the Caribbean, we are recognized as a trusted authority for all governmental, commercial, and industrial projects involving hazardous materials handling and demolition.

• Execute specific asbestos/demolition tasks as instructed.
• Clean and prepare project sites.
• Work off ladders, lifts, or scaffolding and with mechanical equipment as needed.
• Operate hand tools and power tools.
• Understand and follow directions.
• Maintain a safety focus at all times.

• Minimum of 2 years construction experience required.
• Asbestos Worker Certification required.
• OSHA 10 or higher construction training preferred; if not current, willing to obtain certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with construction hand tools required.
• Experience working outside during all seasons and in all‑weather conditions required.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment post‑offer physical.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organized, hardworking, and motivated.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.

• Coordinate your actions with those of other workers on busy construction sites.
• Complete work projects on time and with effective attendance; regular and prompt attendance is essential.
• Work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution, and toxic atmospheres.
• Wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA‑required medical surveillance programs as necessary.
• Pick up construction debris and lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Climb temporary or permanent stairs and ladders.
• Regularly required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Compensation Range: $24.00 - $26.00/hour.
• Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.

• Paid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours per year.
• Sick Time: 56 hours per year.
