Concrete Foreman

Job Description

Essel is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead our concrete construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the concrete crew, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and according to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the concrete crew on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce safety protocols among team members.
• Manage daily work schedules and ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner.
• Monitor and control material usage and manage inventory for concrete operations.
• Provide guidance and instruction on proper concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
• Conduct regular inspections to assess work quality and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to facilitate project progress and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise.
• Train new crew members on work procedures and expectations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• TWIC card required
• Strong knowledge of concrete materials, methods, and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.
• Ability to withstand physically demanding work environments and conditions.
