Responsibilities
  • Protect the financial integrity of the facility by counting the “bank” of revenue at the start and end of each shift.
  • Collect cash, validations, or other payment and maintain security of cash while making accurate change.
  • Process payments, issue receipts or tickets, and compute or re‑compute bills per customer.
  • Operate the cash register and display the cost of each transaction.
  • Quote parking prices and assist customers with directions to city locations.
  • Complete lost ticket forms when tickets cannot be located.
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently, involving a supervisor when necessary.
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the booth and surrounding area, and check supplies and inventory.
  • Verify the log of shift transactions against the revenue bank.
  • Compile the daily bank of collected revenue and prepare shift reports of transactions.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour

Education and Experience: Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination.

Availability: Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift and/or weekends as required.

License: Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record if required to drive a company vehicle.

Mathematical

Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure and make change.

Language

Skills:

Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, memos, and perform simple correspondence.

Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and solve problems with a few variables.

Other

Skills:

Use of a clock (standard/military), calculator, and credit card machine; maintain a pleasant demeanor on the telephone and in public; respond to customer problems or complaints.

Physical Demands: Requires sitting, reaching, handling objects, walking periodically, and close vision. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to meet these demands.
