Front Desk Agent (Part Time) – Wyndham Garden Norfolk Downtown
Position SummaryThe Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for all guests, responsible for assisting guests with check‑in and check‑out, answering and processing all phone calls, and handling all special requests for services or information in accordance with standard policies and procedures. The role involves high guest contact, maintaining positive guest relations, and resolving guest challenges to ensure satisfaction. The agent must maintain knowledge of all hotel features, services, hours of operation, room rates, special packages and promotions, daily house count, expected arrivals/departures, and scheduled daily group activities.
This industry operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Regular attendance in accordance with company standards is essential for success in this position.
Physical responsibilities include exerting physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 25 pounds, pushing/pulling carts and other equipment up to 100 pounds, enduring various physical movements throughout the work areas, and working under variable temperature conditions and noise levels, in indoor and outdoor settings. Must be able to stand and move for up to 8 hours, and work a varied schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications- Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. - Related
