We’re Excel Fitness, a Planet Fitness franchise group based out of Austin, TX, with 80+ clubs and growing! Since 2016, we have expanded from 16 locations in Texas to over 80 locations across 6 states, including markets like Austin, Dallas, Raleigh, Tulsa, and NW Arkansas. We are opening new clubs each year, providing opportunities to build a great career. Many of our senior managers started at the front desk and advanced to earning base salaries starting at $42k as a GM, $60k as a Regional Manager (responsible for 5-10 locations), and over $100k as a Regional Director overseeing 10+ locations!
All starts at the front desk, where our Team Players are responsible for creating a positive member experience through excellent customer service and maintaining cleanliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Responsibilities include:
- Check members into the system.
- Guide prospective members on tours and assist with new account sign-up.
- Update member accounts as needed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns, escalating to management when necessary.
- Perform detailed cleaning in all areas of the facility.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills; positive and professional interaction with members and co-workers.
- Positive mental attitude is a plus!
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Diplomatic in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Physical Demands
- Stand and walk continuously during shifts.
- Talk regularly in person or on the phone.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- May encounter cleaning products during shifts.
