Insight Global is hiring for a building inspector in the VA Beach area!
This is a building inspector role supporting active on-going projects in the Hampton, VA area. The inspector will work independently on complex assignments while also assisting senior inspectors on more complex projects.
Responsibilities- Perform inspections for framing, mechanical, and electrical systems to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
- Review construction plans and verify adherence to ICC Building Code for VA.
- Conduct on-site inspections during various phases of construction.
- Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to project managers.
- Collaborate with contractors and client representatives on compliance issues.
- Support client project requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
- Operate company vehicles for site visits (no commercial license required).

- Certifications:
ICC Building Code for Virginia. - Skills:
