Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
PurposeOversee the allocation, scheduling, and performance of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) technicians across multiple projects, ensuring effective deployment and organizational efficiency.
Job Description- Assign technicians to specific projects based on skill sets, availability, and priorities.
- Forecast staffing needs, balance workloads, and manage competing demands across project lines.
- Monitor technician performance, provide feedback, and coordinate with project managers to ensure quality standards.
- Identify training needs, support career development, and foster continuous learning among technical staff.
- Act as liaison between project managers and technicians to resolve conflicts and align goals.
- Develop and refine resource management processes to enhance efficiency and adaptability in a matrix environment.
- Maintain accurate records of resource utilization, capacity planning, and technician performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology Management, or related field (or associate’s degree with additional years of experience).
- Technical understanding of ESS equipment installation and maintenance, including reading drawings and interpreting maintenance manuals.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical resource management or project coordination.
- Proficient in resource management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Manufacturer certification or technical training (e.g., Lenel, Milestone, Security+, CISSP).
- Knowledge of NEC and electrical safety practices.
- Familiarity with DoD ESS requirements.
- Experience in a matrix organization structure.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD “Secret” clearance with possibility to upgrade to “Top Secret.”
- U.S. Citizen with a valid Driver’s License.
- Up to 20% travel, domestic and international.
- Must obtain necessary secure federal facility credentials and REAL required.
- Reach, climb, stoop, kneel up to 75% of the time; lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform repetitive motions, climbing, balancing, crawling, and other physical tasks.
- Work in extreme cold/heat; maintain communication with team.
