Commercial / Industrial Plumbing Engineer :
- Conceptualize the initial design approach for major phases of plumbing projects for large commercial / industrial facilities, with overall responsibility for engineering work
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering work
- Supervise project design and ongoing progress, including coordination with city, state, and county officials and other outside agencies
- Liaise between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and design teams
- Review plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates
- Participate in bidding and construction administration
Qualifications :
- Relevant engineering degree:
Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field
- P.E. license required - must be a fully licensed Professional Engineer ( PE license )
- Minimum 5-10 years of commercial / industrial MEP engineering experience, specifically in plumbing - for example : water supply, sanitary drainage and waste systems, stormwater management, natural gas piping, specialized systems (medical gas, lab waste, grease interceptors), etc
