Job OverviewCACI is seeking a cleared On Site Logistics Engineer – Navy in Norfolk, VA to serve as a Single Point of Entry for all ships, Port Engineers, and other interested parties in all homeports for all Naval ships Class Common Equipment (CCE) related issues. The role includes tracking, issuing, and custodial support for the CCE Program. The Engineer will track paybacks and provide ships with an updated list of items still owed in the CCE program.

- Arrange for excess material carried in CCE to be issued and tracked for supply support.
- Work closely with HII Ingalls and various planning yards to identify material carried in CCE that could be used to support repairs on battle damaged ships and long lead time repair items to reduce repair time.
- Provide a list of different NSN’s that were going to be obsolete as a result of upgrades to various ships class function. Work with NAVSUPP WSS to ensure that the stock available in CCE was considered when ordering for supply system stock to ensure excess stock is not carried.
- Provide input each FY on new items to be carried in CCE based on new equipment being installed on ships in support of supply system management. Also certain items that the system will not carry. This material has had a significant impact on fleet readiness.
- Assist the Logistics Management Analyst Combatant Homeport Engineering Team (CHET) to assist ships in identifying and locating various parts required to make repairs to ship board equipment.
- Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
- US Navy ship experience
- CDMD-OA system experience
