Join CACI as the prime contractor on a growing program supporting NAVSEA 03D3 Digital Program Office as a Budget Analyst supporting the Navy Maintenance and Modernization Enterprise Solution (NMMES), a mission‑critical program that supports over 45,000 users executing naval ship and submarine maintenance operations worldwide.
Responsibilities- Analyze program requirements to determine financial resource needs
- Track program progress and control spending across complex IT initiatives
- Analyze the impact or potential impact of missed or inadequate deliverables on program accomplishment
- Develop and present reports on analysis findings to higher‑level management
- Draft program documentation to support financial activities
- Review and track performance metrics
- Monitor and analyze accounting allocation and spending data
- Track expenses, inventories, and budget balances
- Measure actual performance against budget
- Prepare forecasting reports and trend analysis
- Develop recommendations for budget allocations that conform to budgetary policies and limits
- Utilize financial modeling and data analytics tools
- Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in budget analysis or related area
- Experience with financial modeling and data analytics tools
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems
- Experience with DoD/Navy programs or similar government financial systems
- Knowledge of federal budget processes and procedures
- Familiarity with government contracting and procurement processes
- Experience with financial reporting in complex IT programs
- Understanding of DoD financial management regulations
- Experience with ERP systems and financial databases
- Professional certification (e.g., CDFM, CPA)
