TQI Solutions is actively seeking a collaborative and skilled Financial Analyst III to join our dedicated team. As a key contributor, you will provide crucial support to our esteemed client located in Norfolk, VA.
The estimated salary range for this role is $90,000–$105,000 per year. Final compensation is dependent upon the candidate's skills, qualifications, contract-specific guidelines, and geographic location. TQI is committed to pay equity and compliance with the Virginia Pay Transparency Act; we do not request or consider prior salary history when making employment offers.
Responsibilities- Collaborates with a team of analysts to automate complex business processes, ensuring all customer requirements are met within the specified time frame.
- Must be able to assess products and procedures for compliance with government standards, accounting principles, and multi-tier system application standards
- Must be able to grasp interrelationships between financial management requirements and automation solutions, considering the current system environment and the potential integration of added systems concurrently or later
- Prepares milestone status reports and presentations for colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives
- Coordinates all aspects of complex financial application automation, requesting guidance only in extremely difficult situations. Completes objectives independently within the negotiated budget
This is an on-site full time, salaried, exempt position.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Finance-related major
- Robust knowledge Financial Management, Financial Accounting, and US Navy Financial Systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge highly desired
- Seven years of relevant experience; MSC/US Navy experience strongly preferred
- Experience with US Navy's ERP and Working Capital funding preferred
- Experience with DoD, DON
The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government granted security clearance.
