Avenues Recovery Center at Norfolk is an inpatient detox and residential facility. We are hiring BHTs for the evening shift (3pm-11:30pm).

• Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications, etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• Minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required if in recovery
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
• Dignified, honest character modeling recovery principles
