IT Systems Analyst Job Description

Job Category:
Information Technology, Full Time, Secret Clearance (required to start).

Travel:
Up to 10% Continental US.

• Analyze basic system requirements.
• Document technical processes and support system implementations.
• Assist with troubleshooting and maintain system documentation.
• Work effectively in teams and learn new technologies.

• Knowledge of computer hardware and software systems.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with DoD/Navy programs or similar government IT systems.
• Familiarity with network configurations and system documentation practices.
• Understanding of COTS implementation processes and project lifecycle management.
• Experience with technical documentation and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical abilities, good communication, technical aptitude, problem-solving, attention to detail, team-oriented.
• Ability to learn complex systems quickly and follow procedures.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
• Must work in a structured environment and be willing to learn DoD/Navy specific systems and processes.
• Must be comfortable with legacy and modern technologies.

• IT Systems Analyst I – Bachelor’s degree.
• IT Systems Analyst II – Bachelor’s degree + 3+ years of experience.
• IT Systems Analyst III – Bachelor’s degree + 4+ years of experience.
