As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data systems and pipelines that support advanced AI/ML applications within a Navy IT command.

This is an on-site position in Charleston, SC or Norfolk, VA.

• Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers and other technical teams to ensure efficient and scalable processing of large volumes of data.
• Leverage best practices in data engineering to create robust, high-performance data architectures, enabling effective deployment of machine learning models and supporting mission‑critical defense operations.
• Maintain data quality, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and streamline data workflows to meet the needs of the client's IT systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

• DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• MUST BE A US CITIZEN to receive security clearance.
• 10+ years of relevant experience; or Undergraduate degree and 7+ years of relevant experience; or Graduate degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Experience with Jupiter and Marven Smart Systems.

$136,000-$141,000. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
