Join CACI as the prime contractor on a growing program supporting NAVSEA 03D3 Digital Program Office as a Database Administrator supporting the Navy Maintenance and Modernization Enterprise Solution (NMMES), a mission-critical program that supports over 45,000 users executing naval ship and submarine maintenance operations worldwide. Responsibilities:
* Architect, design, and oversee the development of computerized databases

* Install databases onto appropriate computer operating systems

* Create, configure, and manage databases for data warehousing applications

* Create and maintain database objects including Indexes, Clusters, Snapshots, and Views

* Manage Rollback Segments, Data File Size, and database performance tuning

* Write code for update queries and maintain data dictionaries

* Create and maintain data correction logs with detailed metadata

* Expand and update data dictionaries for databases and related applications

* Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies

* Perform database backup and recovery operations

* Support both legacy and modern database systems

* Collaborate with development teams on database design and requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

* At least 3 years of experience in database administration

* Strong knowledge of database management systems

* Experience with database performance tuning

* Proficiency in SQL and database scripting

* Understanding of backup and recovery procedures Desired:
* Experience with DoD/Navy programs

* Database certifications (Oracle DBA, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.)

* Knowledge of data modeling and database design

* Experience with database security implementation

* SAFe certification

* Experience with cloud databases

* Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
