Safety Data Specialist

Overview

You will serve as a Safety Data Specialist in the Data Analytics Directorate of NAVSAFECOM.

• You will be responsible for maintaining integrity and accuracy of risk management information, requiring strong knowledge of occupational safety and mishap reporting
• You will serve as the quality control administrator that reviews mishap and hazard-related source data
• You will examine documents and electronically submitted data to ensure completeness, determines the most appropriate and accurate values for individual data elements
• You will provide support to leadership in all matters relating to operational and policy aspects of safety databases, data entry, data collection and troubleshooting issues.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
