Position Overview
Trimitron Corp is seeking an experienced Logistician II to provide life‑cycle logistics support to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific’s Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division. This role supports the planning, development, and execution of logistics strategies for electronic systems and C4
ISR-related technologies that directly enable Navy PNT mission capabilities.
The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience in defense acquisition logistics, strong analytical skills, and the ability to develop logistics plans, procedures, and management guidelines in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide logistics support across the full system life cycle for PNT‑related electronic systems, including acquisition, fielding, sustainment, and disposal.
- Apply logistics management principles, practices, and processes to ensure effective supportability of PNT systems.
- Analyze engineering and systems management data to assess logistics impacts, readiness, and sustainment requirements.
- Support the development and maintenance of logistics documentation, including:
- Logistics Plans
- Logistics Management Plans (LMPs)
- Standard Operating Procedures
- Sustainment and supportability guidelines
- Provide at least one year of logistics support experience with C4
ISR or similar systems, including system integration, sustainment, and operational support. - Evaluate logistics requirements for PNT systems, components, and supporting technologies.
- Coordinate with engineers, program managers, and technical teams to ensure logistics considerations are integrated into system design and deployment.
- Support configuration management, provisioning, maintenance planning, and supply chain coordination for PNT‑related equipment.
- Assist in developing logistics strategies that enhance system readiness, reduce downtime, and support mission continuity.
- Prepare logistics analyses, reports, and recommendations for Government stakeholders.
- Participate in technical reviews, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and PNT program planning sessions.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with Navy, NIWC, and DoD acquisition and sustainment policies.
- Maintain or actively work toward DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics Level II (Foundational) certification or demonstrate equivalent training.
- If DAWIA Level II is not held, possess a minimum of five (5) years of direct defense life cycle logistics experience.
- Apply best practices in acquisition logistics, sustainment planning, and system supportability analysis.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Three (3) years of experience in defense life cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, including:
- Logistics management
- Logistics principles, practices, and processes
- At least one (1) year of experience supporting C4
ISR or similar systems, including:- Analyzing engineering/systems management data
- Developing logistics plans and procedures
- Developing logistics management plans and guidelines
- DAWIA Level II certification in Life Cycle Logistics OR equivalent training OR a total of five (5) years of direct defense logistics experience.
- Experience supporting NIWC, NAVWAR, NAVSEA, or other Navy acquisition programs.
- Familiarity with PNT systems, maritime electronics, or navigation technologies.
- Experience with provisioning, supply support, maintenance planning, and sustainment analysis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
