APM Engineer
Associate I - Production Support
You Are:The APM Engineer provides hands-on operational support across Dev/QA/Prod environments for databases, reporting, ETL, schedulers, and monitoring platforms.
The opportunity:- Execute manual deployments to QA & PROD; run command-line deploys; perform post-deployment validations.
- Patch servers across Dev/QA/Prod; handle emergency changes following ERM and change control.
- Manage Cyber Ark password changes, unlock/update credentials, and maintain secure access.
- Perform Kill SPID actions for REQ/INC; support flex clones & maintenance jobs.
- SQL Server & Oracle
- Operations: credential updates, performance monitoring, and incident remediation.
- SSRS:
Deploy RDL files; manage folders, data sources, subscriptions; assign permissions; retire templates.

What you need:- Experience:
1-3+ years in production support / environment operations across Dev/QA/Prod. - Technical
Skills: - Databases:
Microsoft SQL Server (queries, SPIDs, performance tuning), Oracle basics. - Reporting: SSRS (RDL deployments, subscriptions, permissions).
- ETL: SSIS and Informatica (connections, XML imports, folder management).
- Monitoring Tools:
Datadog (monitors, dashboards, YAML configs), Precise (agents, health checks). - Schedulers: TIDAL job scheduling and variable updates.
- Access Management:
Cyber Ark, CTU workflows. - Service Management:
Service Now (incident/request handling). - OS Agents:
Windows & Linux/Unix agent installation and troubleshooting. - Scripting:
Power Shell, Bash; working knowledge of YAML/XML. - Process Knowledge:
Change management, ERM compliance, off-hours deployment handling. - Operational Model:
Ability to work in a 24/7 support construct with on-call rotation.
Preferred Skills
- Performance tuning for SQL/ETL/reporting workloads.
- Experience reducing noise via trend analysis.
- Familiarity with healthcare claims ecosystem and GBD operational processes.
- Exposure to Atlas/GBD monitoring patterns and runbook-driven remediation.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Clear written/verbal communication; ability to collaborate with app teams, DBAs, vendors.
- Process-driven mindset with attention to detail.
- Ownership and accountability for incident resolution and continuous improvement.

Compensation Range: $48,000-$72,000
