SharePoint Administrator

Norfolk Naval Base, Norfolk, VA (100% Onsite)
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to support the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC) at Naval Station Norfolk. This onsite role supports both classified and unclassified DoD SharePoint environments across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS. The ideal candidate will manage SharePoint Online platforms, provide Tier 1/2 support, deliver training, and collaborate with users ranging from staff to senior military and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
● Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online environments across DoD domains
● Manage site access, permissions, storage, and content across Hub and connected sites
● Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 SharePoint support and user training
● Design and deliver briefings, demos, and training sessions for technical and senior audiences
● Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and technical documentation
● Implement enhancements and process improvements for SharePoint and Power Platform tools
● Troubleshoot issues and support migrations as needed
● Utilize Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Forms
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
● 3+ years of SharePoint Online administration experience
● Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 / O365
● Excellent communication, organization, and customer support skills
● Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support
● Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
● 3+ years supporting DoD environments
● Knowledge of data relationships and database concepts
● JSON formatting experience
● Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
