Base Pay: $163,000 to $226,900, depending on level
Our client is building a unified view of mission IT health. This role pulls data from dozens of systems and feeds into one dashboard so leadership can see the real-time status of the enterprise at a glance.
What You'll Do- Architect and run pipelines that ingest, store, process, and integrate large multi-source datasets
- Connect SNMP, server, storage, network device, and multi-cloud log feeds into a single reporting platform
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes for high-volume streaming data
- Own data quality through auditing, validation, and cleansing so reports stay accurate
- Define and enforce governance standards covering security, integrity, and access
- Keep data handling aligned with federal requirements such as FISMA, HIPAA, and FDTA
- Apply security controls to data systems in line with NIST RMF and ICD 503
- Script automation in Python, Power Shell, or Bash
- Partner with systems engineers, data scientists, and government stakeholders to meet mission goals
- Strong SQL and experience with cloud data platforms, including AWS Gov Cloud
- Hands-on work with log aggregation tools such as Splunk, Elastic, and Logstash
- 5+ years in data engineering, systems integration, or information assurance
- Clear technical writing for documentation and compliance reporting
- Working knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and Linux/Windows hardening
- Bachelor's degree in data science, CS, cybersecurity, IS, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly
- Azure Government or AWS Gov Cloud background
- Certs such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CASP+, or GSEC
- Dev Sec Ops , CI/CD, Ansible, or Terraform
- Experience with RMF and ICD 503 accreditation
Levels: Hiring from mid-level (3+ years) through principal (16+ years), all with a bachelor's degree.
