Job Description & How to Apply Below
Our client, a technology consultancy focused on digital experiences for large healthcare organizations, is hiring a Senior Project Manager / Delivery Lead. This person will run complex enterprise web modernization engagements for new clients. It’s a highly visible role. You’ll work with senior healthcare executives and help build new client relationships from the ground up. Work kicks off in early December.
This is more than a typical project management seat. These engagements combine digital strategy, multi-vendor technology work, and demanding client situations. Candidates who have handled both project and program management will stand out.
What you’ll do- Lead multi-phase enterprise website redesigns, platform modernizations, and digital transformation work, including content migrations and design system rollouts.
- Own scope, schedule, budget, and staffing across cross-functional teams of strategists, designers, architects, QA, and analysts. Give team members direct feedback.
- Coordinate with technology vendors, including Sitecore implementation partners.
- Set up and manage Jira project boards. Use Jira Advanced Plans to map dependencies, track capacity, and forecast delivery.
- Spot risks early, have direct conversations with client and internal leaders, and adjust plans to protect budget and timeline.
- Guide clients through organizational change and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities and trade-offs.
- Give clear, plain-language updates to client executives.
- PMP certification (required)
- 7+ years of progressive project or program management, leading complex technology engagements in an agency or consulting setting (required)
- A track record leading large enterprise web redesigns or modernization initiatives
- Deep, hands-on Jira and Jira Advanced Plans experience
- Agile delivery expertise (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe)
- Exceptional executive communication and a steady hand in challenging client situations
- Working knowledge of DXPs, API integrations, and cloud hosting (no coding required)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Healthcare or other regulated industry experience
- Sitecore experience (XM Cloud / headless)
- CSM, CSPO, or PMI-ACP certification
- Remote. Open to candidates in VA (Plus DC), TN, NC, TX, FL, GA, KY, MD
- Compensation: $130K - $160K
- Benefits include generous PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with fully vested match, and short- and long-term disability.
