- Title Insurance Underwriter
Attorney-owned commercial title agency in Norfolk, Virginia has an opening for a licensed title insurance underwriter. Must have at least 5 years’ experience with title insurance underwriting, interpreting title searches, and preparing title commitments and policies. Must be comfortable working in a tightly-knit office team environment, and regularly collaborating with real estate attorneys, commercial lenders and paralegals. Paid time off, benefits program, 401k and parking provided.
Downtown Norfolk office location, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm M-F. Very progressive company with great working conditions in a beautiful contemporary office space.
5 years of experience with real estate title insurance underwriting.
Proficient with Soft Pro title and settlement software.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of title insurance coverages and risk assessment.
Must be flexible and possess a passion for working in a close team environment.
