This entry‑level Operations Analyst role is a fully onsite position located in Norfolk, Virginia. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring and dispatching outage trouble calls, analyzing incoming outage calls to determine the location of problems, prioritizing emergency and non‑emergency work, and communicating with customers to resolve power issues. This role requires strong analytical, multitasking, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Candidates with prior dispatch or operations center experience are preferred.

• Monitor and dispatch outage trouble calls.
• Analyze large subsets of data from multiple information sources to determine and create appropriate action plans.
• Prioritize emergency work, outage, and non‑outage tasks for first responders.
• Communicate with customers to identify and resolve power issues.
• Handle multiple tasks from start to finish, adapting to constantly changing priority levels.

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and make well‑thought‑out decisions.
• Excellent customer service skills with prior experience in a hands‑on operations analyst role.
• Prior dispatch experience in environments such as 911 operations centers or utilities operations centers is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.

$25–$28 per hour (W2)
