We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Legal Assistant to join our Litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast‑paced legal environment and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities- Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
- Manage case files and maintain document databases.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and other meetings.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Perform legal research and analysis.
- Assist with trial preparation.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a litigation practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
