The Externals Group are seeking an Operations Manager in Norfolk to join a leading and established commercial roofing contractor, recognized nationwide for delivering high-quality roofing and building envelope solutions. In this role, you'll oversee daily business operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and the seamless delivery of projects.

A Day in the Life:

• Oversee company-wide operations, aligning project delivery with business goals.
• Manage and support Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to maximize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and operational systems.
• Work closely with senior leadership to develop strategies for growth and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in an Operations Manager role (preferably within commercial roofing or construction).
• Proven ability to manage multiple teams, projects, and priorities.
• Strong financial and organizational management skills.
• Expertise in commercial roofing systems such as Single Ply, Asphalt, Hot & Cold Applied, and Metal Roofing is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
