Senior Fabricator

Overview

Senior Fabricator at PAR Systems, located in Brunswick, GA. This role supports U.S. Navy and global maritime partners with precision welding and fabrication to MILSPEC standards.

Sign-On Bonus $1,000 & relocation assistance available to Brunswick, GA.

• Fabricate, fit‑up, and weld complex steel structures using GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, and SAW techniques to exact MILSPEC standards.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and welding symbols to fabricate mission‑critical components.
• Maintain certification across multiple weld processes and troubleshoot welding equipment.
• Mentor junior fabricators and model best safety practices.
• Achieve production goals while maintaining quality and safety.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of advanced welding experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• Current certifications in GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Skilled in MILSPEC‑level fabrication.
• Able to pass advanced weld qualification tests, including 6G pipe.
• Proficient with forklifts, cranes, precision measurement tools, and GD&T.
• US person.
• Preferred: technical school diploma or advanced fabrication certifications; SAW welding and setup experience;
  Master Rigger certification; experience with aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and nickel alloy.
