Parts Coordinator

Parts Coordinator – MGX Equipment Services, Norfolk, VA

As a Parts Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for identifying, locating, and obtaining parts to meet customers’ needs. This position is located at the Norfolk, Virginia branch and reports to the Parts Manager.

• Maintain inventory control.
• Research and order parts for customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Correspond via phone and email with customers regarding quotes and diagrams.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience within a Parts or Service department.
• Experience in the heavy equipment or construction industry preferred.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer/client focus.
• Ability to multi‑task and problem‑solve.
• Knowledge of aerial and earthmoving equipment.
• Travel may be required 5% of the time or less.

• Perform job functions in a safe manner.
• Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required by Company policy.
• Know and follow established job‑specific and facility‑wide safety and health procedures and rules.
• Actively participate in safety and health training and demonstrate competency based on training received.

This is a full‑time position with typical working hours between 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Overtime and weekend work may be possible based on business conditions.
