Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Naval or Commercial Pipe Welders for projects in or around Warwick County, VA
. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $60/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are an Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
- Multipass
- All positions using the SMAW and GTAW processes
- All position fillet and butt welds using the SMAW Shielded metal arc process
- Fuse inserts and weld carbon steel stainless steel and copper nickel pipe using the SMAW and GTAW Gas Tungsten Arc Welding processes
- Mirror weld using the SMAW and GTAW process
- Use fillet gauges butt gauges and a six inch scale
- 5+ years commercial/naval experience
- Experience working in physically demanding environments shipboard sub-assemblies ladders staging etc.
- Must have familiarity with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry
- Must pass various weld test
- Fire-watch training
