Shipfitter J4 - Blueprint Fabrication, 2nd Shift
General Dynamics NASSCO in Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking Ship fitter Journeyperson 4 for 2nd shift (3 PM – 11 PM). You will read blueprints, lay out plates, pipes, and structures, and work with weld symbols to prepare materials for welding.
Candidates must demonstrate safe use of power tools, create templates for fabrication, and assemble foundations and deck houses. Five openings are available; access to Navy facilities is required. This is a full-time role with equal opportunity employment.
