Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care - PICU - Travel - (PICU RN)

All candidates, in every role is required to have proven, specialized experience in working with CHILDREN to include gestation, infancy, childhood, adolescence up to age 18. Level 1 trauma We are looking for nurses who have experience in both PICU and CVICU if possible. They should have at least 2 years of experience working in a PICU, and at least 2 travel contracts completed.
They need to be completely independent, flexible, and able to adapt to a multitude of patient diagnoses and treatments. Strong skill set needed in all care areas due to our acuity and diverse population of patient diagnosis. High proficiency in post-neurosurgery patients, asthmatics, or trauma, SI, Status Epilepticus, Cleft Lip/ Palate, Craniofacial and specific medication administration (versed, narcotic analgesia).

Registered Nurse, PICU
Experience:
2 years Travel
Experience:
6 months in Registered Nurse Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted)
Certifications:
BLS; PALS 2+ years of PICU and CVPICU experience to include hands on with generalized respiratory, neuro surge patients and a vigorous cardiac care background.
FLU required. No exemptions
CRRT, caring for diabetic patients
Able to mentor new nurses
Strong skill set needed in all care areas due to our acuity and diverse population of patient diagnosis. High proficiency in post-neurosurgery patients, asthmatics, or trauma, SI, Status Epilepticus, Cleft Lip/ Palate, Craniofacial and specific medication administration (versed, narcotic analgesia)
