We are seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with strong neurosurgery experience for a locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This role starts Jan 5, 2026, and spans 42 days, working a 7 on / 7 off night shift rotation. The position focuses on pre-op and post-op rounding for neurosurgical patients, with no operating room responsibilities.

Nights : 7pm - 7am
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative rounding for neurosurgery patients
- Manage care for a high-acuity, busy neurosurgery service
- Provide coverage at two hospital locations as scheduled
- Work exclusively night shifts as part of a 7 on / 7 off rotation
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) is required
- Board certification in Neurological Surgery required
- Must have strong experience with neurosurgery patients
- Preference for candidates with Epic experience
- Must hold a valid Virginia license
- Flexibility to work at either hospital location week to week
