Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Emergency
Location: VA
Schedule: Rotating shifts available (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Position Overview
Provide emergency medicine coverage as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. This role includes cross-credentialing across multiple regional sites.
Clinical Scope Highlights
- Trauma designation:
Level 3 - Hospital beds: 495
Required Qualifications
- Emergency Medicine NP/PA experience required
- Active Virginia NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
- Board eligible candidates accepted
- Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
Credentialing / Onboarding Items
- Cross-credentialing across multiple regional sites
- Submission package requires 3 leadership references within the past year
