Job Duties- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess and maintain a valid unrestricted Virginia CNA license issued by the board of nursing (if you are a recent graduate of a CNA program in VA and not licensed, the NNAAP exam must be scheduled at the time of application).
- Knowledge of patient care, personal care techniques, and infection control measures.
- Demonstrated ability to take and record vital signs; to transfer and transport patients in a safe manner using proper body mechanics; to recognize signs and symptoms indicating distress; and to perform CPR.
- Ability to intervene in crisis or problem situations.
- Ability to work in a secure/locked environment. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, take initiative, organize duties, and manage time.

- Experience working in a hospital, nursing, or secured patient environment.
- Skilled in the use of a computer to include Outlook (professional email client) and Microsoft Office
- Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers with current certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) is required upon hire.
