Ship Repair, NDT Level II qualified candidates must have documentation to support qualification integrated with 3
-5 years of experience. VT, PT, and MT NDT are the minimum requirements or must have Level II in at least three testing techniques. Knowledge of shipboard structures and systems required, must be proficient in blueprint reading/interpretation, and QA systems. UT and or ET inspection qualification is highly desired but not required. Wage will be commensurate with qualifications and experience level.

Must have a clean background, DBIDs/Rapid-Gate eligible, and have reliable transportation.

• Performs calibrations, nondestructive testing, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.
• Qualified and able to set up and calibrate equipment, and interpret/evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Understand the scope and limitations of NDT methodology and exercise responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Assistants and Level I Technicians.
• Organizes, documents, and reports the results of the testing IAW. the applicable codes or standards.
