- Directing and ensuring that our restaurants operate in accordance with core values, systems, procedures, and brand standards at all times.
- Managing a 40-50 person staff and being directly involved in hiring, employee training and development, terminations, and performance management.
- Managing the floor, opening and closing the restaurant, writing schedules with the management team, managing cash, making financial projections, managing expenses, budgeting labor, overseeing ordering and inventory, completing maintenance and repairs, handling emergencies, complying with applicable laws, and implementing changes to menu, policies, or procedures.
- Driving and monitoring restaurant performance through financial statements, sales, and activity reports.
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements.
- Maintaining accurate inventories and reconciliations.
- Ensuring guests receive consistent high-quality food and legendary service.
- Communicating constantly with staff, management team, and corporate; checking emails daily and ensuring information is passed down the chain of command quickly and correctly.
- Preparing fresh food, excelling in the kitchen, and knowing how to work the expo window.
- Stand up and move for most—if not all—of the shift (up to 12 hours).
- Work weekends and holidays.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work in inclement weather (we are from Buffalo; we don’t close for snow).
- Operate restaurant equipment such as grills, dishwashers, and slicers.
- Understand and communicate in the predominant language of our guests and employees.
- With or without reasonable accommodation.
