Job TitleSenior Sales Associate
Primary PurposeThe successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to contribute to the store’s sales and customer experience.
Responsibilities- Client & Service Expert: Achieves individual sales goals. Develops strong product knowledge across all categories. Delivers exemplary customer service and creates the ultimate kate spade experience. Develops personal connections with guests through effective selling skills.
- Leadership Presence: Achieves personal sales goals. Maintains extensive product knowledge. Partners with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate selling culture and to initiate in-store business-driving events.
- Building Brand Equity: Understands and communicates the kate spade new york brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle. Builds strong relationships with clients as a brand ambassador. Communicates client feedback to store leadership to improve service and sales. Adheres to company policies with honesty and integrity.
- Operational Excellence: Performs store opening and closing procedures including counting funds, deposits, and securing the facility.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Strong communication skills. Proven ability to contribute to an elevated selling culture. Elevated sense of personal style.
Physical RequirementsAvailable to work store schedule, including evenings and weekends. Standing for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable climbing ladders.

Work Setup & CompensationBase Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 hourly.
