Job DescriptionAs a Lead Cybersecurity Sales Representative at Honeywell, you will use your expertise in Cyber Operational Technology (OT) to develop cutting‑edge security solutions that meet client needs. You will drive sales, identify and generate cyber‑security opportunities in the Southeast U.S., and build long‑lasting client relationships. Your role involves coordinating trade shows, delivering technical presentations, managing CRM data, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) to align sales strategies.
You will report directly to the Sr. Sales Manager and be located anywhere in the Southeast Region of the U.S. (Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Louisiana). You will have a significant impact on company growth by targeting key industries such as Energy, Power, Life Sciences, Minerals, and Mining.
- Strategic Sales Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve or exceed an annual quota of $5–$7 million, including setting targets, timelines, and analyzing market trends in the OT security sector. - Business Development:
Identify and aggressively pursue new business opportunities within the OT Cybersecurity market using advanced prospecting techniques and industry intelligence to expand the client base. - Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients across targeted industry sectors, understanding their unique OT environments and cybersecurity challenges to serve as a trusted advisor. - Solution Customization:
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product development) to design and deliver tailored Cyber OT security solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements. - Industry Expertise:
Stay current on OT Cybersecurity trends, threats, and compliance requirements; continuously enhance knowledge of products and the competitive landscape. - Demonstrations and Training:
Conduct impactful product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations to communicate the value of OT Cybersecurity solutions and their role in mitigating operational risks. - Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and metrics; analyze data to identify trends and implement strategies for improvement. - Networking and Representation:
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence and generate new business leads.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in OT Cybersecurity sales or a related field, with a proven track record of success in selling complex security solutions.
- Demonstrated history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas, particularly in the OT Cybersecurity sectors.
- Understanding of Cybersecurity products and solutions, especially those applicable to Operational Technology environments, including but not limited to network security, incident response, and risk management solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively cross‑functionally.
